Be more stylish....make more effort to find an alternative to jeans and fully appreciate that colours other than black exist!

Loose weight (same as every year....is anyone ever truly happy with their appearance?)

Complete another year of my accountancy qualification. 

Find a skin care routine that suits my ever changing sensitive skin. 

Best Christmas presents ever!

I cannot believe how spoilt I have been this year!

After a long time deliberating over whether or not to get these boots (partially due to price and partially due to the fact I'm not entirely sure I'm the kind of person who can wear light colours!) I finally caved. 

After a few disappointing wears that resulted in some very nasty blisters it would appear that they are now fully broken in. 

I can safely say they are now the most comfy pair of boots I have ever owned. 

Only time will tell if they were worth the £150 they cost me!

So Christmas is upon us again and thought turn to what we are going to be wearing over the festive period. Like everyone else my make-up is more dramatic and glitter is actually acceptable. 

This year, after recently watching Thor: the Dark World and rediscovering my love of all things Natalie Portman, I have decided to rock a bold red lip at this years Christmas party. It is after all a masquerade ball. 

This therefore called for a trip to the Dior counter to purchase the bright fire engine red modelled by Portman in the latest Dior ad campaigns. 

Once in my grasps, it has been a case of trying it out so that I can finally feel comfortable with such a bright lip. 

The lipstick itself is incredibly moisturising and seems to be long lasting. 

Despite the price I would actually recommend this to anyone looking for a bright, bold look this Christmas.
